Claudia practices Hatha yoga with Iyengar yoga elements at La Vudéle.
Practicing yoga for more than 10 years and after having been exposed to various forms of yoga she decided to focus on the concentrated art of Iyengar yoga, with its focus on oneself, on balance and on the gentle use of one’s muscles, combining it with various aspects of slow and focused Hatha yoga, which include breathing, relaxation and mediation.

Yoga is a complete process, from beginning to end. It is therefore that we ask you to arrive 15 minutes early, to get changed and settled in. We start with a short reflection, to gather our thoughts and focus on the practice ahead. We will then spend about one hour practicing the different positions of yoga using Iyengar and Hatha philosophy, followed by a period of relaxation.
After the session a warm tea (Chai, mint or verbena) will be served, to replenish the liquids used up during the yoga session and to provide us with inner warmth.
Please call ahead, until 8 p.m. the latest the evening before, to reserve and so that we can prepare your session.

Claudia has created a meditation walk in Saint Laurent du Verdon, a relaxed 2-hour discovery tour of nature and yourself, using inspiration from your surroundings, supported by meditation guides. Ask for a printed copy of this walk when you stay at La Vudèle or Le Moulin du Chateau or use your GPS-ready mobile phone to access the map and walk online.
