In French the word 'at home' does not exist.; rather, 'chez nous' describes this feeling of being at home, of having arrived and being around friends and family. On the plateau de Quinson where La Vudèle, our century-old farmhouse, is located time passes at a different pace: more slowly, more consciously, making one feel at home.
To partake in this lifestyle we offer 3 different types of holidays:
~ retreats to explore true Provence
~ a spacious guest room including a sumptuous organic breakfast and our bio-prestige dinner table d'hotes
~ self-catering holidays in our gite at La Vudèle or a villa in Puimoisson with swimming pool

The guest bedroom - "La Suite" - is a spacious double room with queen-sized bed (160x200) and en-suite bathroom, added in 2012.
The bed is dressed with certified organic cotton sheets as are the pillows and comforter. The mattress was chosen for its natural material, latex.
The en-suite bathroom with walk-in Italian shower is spacious enough for two lovebirds to take a shower; plus a sink area with ecological faucet and separate eco-friendly toilet. Natural organic soap is provided by C'etrange Fine Natural Products, which can also be purchased in our boutique.
The ecological wall paint and the local building materials were chosen to reflect the atmosphere of this area and the style of this old farmhouse.
The guest bedroom is located on the first floor of the house, overlooking the garden and lavender fields; separate access along the outside stairs allows for complete privacy.

The breakfast includes

~ local honey from Felicia in La-Palud-du-Verdon
~ organic loose black, green or herbal tea
~ organic fresh coffee freshly brewed
and whatever else is available and in season in terms of fruit and dairy products
For stays of 3 nights or more we prepare vegetarian or vegan crepes made fresh with organic flour and soy milk, pain perdu / French Toast or any other delicacy we can think of. Please book ahead of time so we can make all necessary arrangements to make your stay the most comfortable possible; we ask for non-refundable payment upfront.
To partake in a true Provencal experience a three-course dinner including wine at € 34 per person is offered Saturday evenings. To reserve please contact us at least 24 hours in advance; this will give us enough time to prepare your fresh, organic, vegetarian and seasonal dinner, our table d'hotes.

We suggest your arrival to be between 17:00 and 19:00 so you still have time for a walk along the fields, to sit in the garden and to enjoy the sunset. If you think you will be arriving later or are delayed please do call us to let us know.
We serve breakfast for 8:30, to give or guests enough time to have a lie-in and get ready for the day ahead. This enables us to prepare a fresh loaf of bread which is served hot out of the oven. Thank you for respecting our check-out time of 10:00 so that we can prepare the room for your fellow travelers.

If you wish for a one-on-one yoga session with Claudia please bring comfortable loose-fitting clothing. The sessions are held early in the morning, to enjoy the rising sun, the start of the day and the coolness of the sun. As this is seen as exchange this can either be through monetary means or through a service you wish to give to Claudia or La Vudèle, be creative.
