La Vudèle is ideally located between two major hiking routes, the GR (Grandes Randonnées), which criss-cross the whole of France. The GR4 which departs from Royan (Charente-Maritime) on the Atlantic coast, passes through the Cevennnes which Robert Louis Stevenson beautifully decribed, and continues past Greoux-Les-Bains and Riez north of La Vudèle to and through the Gorges du Verdon to Grasse, on the Mediterranean.

The GR99 which traverses the Var and runs south of La Vudèle through Quinson and Aiguines meets up with the GR4 near the Gorge du Verdon.

For walkers this area offers many walking trails which are well marked. Through lavender and wheat fields, forest and vineyards, from lake to lake or village to village: this area has something fto offer or everyone, ability and ambition.
