- de-cluttering is en vogue
- it leaves more space for our other projects

Organic Magazine
Living in the Provence is a little bit different from living in France, with its different climate zones, different mentalities and different ways of living.
Over time we want to create an upmarket print magazine, Organic Living in the Provence, which will offer the readers insight and tips into the varied and various aspects of living in the Provence.
We plan to create a print outlet for various craftspeople, be it photographers, graphic designers, service provider or authors. We will include material which is supplied by the contributor and in exchange include an advertisement or listing, thus creating free publicity and another aspect of sustainability.
One of the sections will include our already-established The Honest Restaurant Guide (THRG) with which we aim to do and accomplish the following:
In our personal search for organic and vegetarian food in the Provence we will source restaurants, shops, etc. which offer such things. Here are our guidelines for restaurants:
1) Vegetarian and meat/fish (for couples like us where one eats meat)
2) Bio/organic sourced locally. (stores - ferme produce – producers)
Ways to act:
1) look for restaurant beforehand, ie. make list
2) at restaurant: check for vegetarian options
3) take photo, of restaurant and of the meals
4) ask for origin of produce
5) look at presentation, preparation, cleanliness of dishes etc and establishment
6) blog: format
7) write letter to restaurant mentioning blog
8) give restaurant to comment via email or letter
9) add feedback to blog
Please consult our blog, http://organicprovence.blogspot.com, for reviews and recommendations. We will keep you posted on our visits to these and other establishments and complete our THRG as we progress in our quest.
Go vegetarian, go organic!
